Dr. Hanan Mikhael Dawood Habbi is an accomplished electrical engineer with a Ph.D. in Mechatronics and Automation Engineering from Shanghai University, China (2012), and M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees from the University of Baghdad, Iraq (1997 and 1990). Her expertise lies in sensorless position and speed estimation, control of electric drives, power quality, and renewable energy. She has held prominent roles, including Head of the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Baghdad and Scientific Researcher at Oakland University. Dr. Habbi has significantly contributed to academia and industry through various projects, conferences, and numerous publications.
